Bet types can be settled very differently depending both on the type and the number of selections.
Singles

If your selection wins, you receive the winnings and your stake back as returns.

If your selection is void, you receive your stake back.

If your selection loses, you receive nothing.
Accumulator

If every selection wins, your bet wins.

If a selection is settled as void, your bet is settled on the remaining selections.

If any selections lose, your bet loses.
